SEV 2009
Registration is now open for all Southeast Valley Girls (SEV) to enter the 3rd Annual local preliminary pageant. The Pageant is scheduled for November 8th, 2009 at the Ahwatukee Foothills Golf Club. A free orientation and workshop will be held Sunday, September 20th 2009 at the Ahwatukee Foothills Family YMCA @ 3:30pm.

The SEV Cinderella Scholarship Program is a non-profit organization focused on developing self esteem, confidence, and pride in the young ladies who come and “Dare to Dream.” Cinderella competition is divided into five age divisions: Tot (3-6), Mini-Miss (7-9), Miss (10-12), Teen (13-17) and Women (18-26). Participants are judged on poise and personality during a backstage interview and while modeling casual and formal wear. The four older divisions are also judges on talent presentations. Cinderella Tots (Ages 3-6) have an onstage interview called “Tot Personality: in lieu of talent. All contestants participate in a photogenic competition conducted from pictures provided by the family. An optional Cover Girl (Photogenic) competition is also available.
Overall Cinderella winners, Cinderella Girls (Beauty), Talent/Tot Personality and Photogenic winners receive their $75 entry fee paid by the local pageant to attend the 2010 Arizona State Finals in Laughlin, Nevada in June. Winners at the State and International levels win college scholarships.
